We're back with another stop in our "In the Neighbourhood" series. Today we are extending the boundaries of our neighbourhood further West in the Niagara region to the sweet small town of Grimsby. We found the town's hidden gem, a beautiful store called Objects to Desire.
When you walk into this sweet spot at the base of Livingston Avenue you are greeted by Murphy, Object to Desire's Welcome Dog. The minute you step foot in the door you can feel the passion that the owners, Melanie and Denise, put into curating the beautiful pieces in the shop. Filled with unique treasures by amazing artisans, this is the perfect place to find gifts for everyone on your list this holiday season. From paintings, pottery and jewelry to candles and items for kids, we lost track of time browsing this collection of handmade items. 90% of the store's inventory comes from Canadian Made Artists, which makes our local loving hearts sing.
We are so thankful to all of our customers that support our small business that we love to pay that forward by supporting other local, small businesses, especially those with the same philosophies and values as us. If you'd like to check out Objects to Desire, they are having their Christmas open house this Saturday, November 7th from 10 a.m to 8pm at their location on 1 Livingston Avenue in Grimsby. We'll be starting our Christmas shopping here this weekend and we hope to see you there checking out everything you desire. Tell Melanie and Denise that we sent you and give Murphy a pat for us!
