Canada's Newest Style Icon and Supporter

Canada's Newest Style Icon and Supporter

The Canadian fashion scene is getting some shine lately since our new Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, and his wife, Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau took office on November 4, 2015. As the wife of Canada's political leader, Sophie has been in the spot light, attending high profile events and garnering the attention of media outlets and fashionistas alike. A proud supporter of Canadian made and designed fashion, Grégoire-Trudeau is raising the profile of our fashion scene and our designers at an international level. Similar to what Kate Middleton has done in the UK for fashion, Sophie is sparking new interest in Canadian brands that she has worn, making both luxury and affordable pieces highly sought after. With a classic style that is both timeless and attainable, this is a fashion icon Canadians can certainly be proud to have representing us on the world's fashion stage.

We are so passionate about always maintaining a line that is Canadian made and designed and we love that Canadian designers are getting some well deserved attention. There are so many creative, innovative, talented designers in our country and having the Prime Minister's wife represent this homegrown industry is a huge win. We look forward to seeing all of the outfits and designers Sophie continues to wear and can't wait to see more growth in the Canadian fashion industry as a result!
